Facilities

Camping cozy with various types of accommodation ranging from camping to stay in simple wooden huts or bungalows with all amenities.

Located in North Road at the eastern end of Asturias, just 4 kilometers from the town of Colombres, making it ideal as a place to stage, regain strength and start the route Asturias.

It is located on the beach in the town of La Franca, which is accessed at the junction located at kilometer 286 of the N-634. The campsite has been refurbished last year so has some pretty new and comfortable facilities.

Prices

Camping: 10% discount for pilgrims at normal rates.

Cabins: special rate of 10 euros per person per night for pilgrims.

In both cases, the price includes taxes and free hot showers, swimming pool and Wi-Fi signal.

Bungalows: from 90 euros per night (4 people). Includes tax and parking for one vehicle.

In camping and cabins no minimum stay; Bungalows in minimum stay of 2 nights in June and September and 7 nights in July and August.

Services

All camping pitches are grass and has plenty of shade. In all of them there is a possibility of electrical connection and water intake.

The cabins are 2 to 4 people (bunk) and consist of beds with mattress, wardrobe, bedside table, lamp, electrical outlet where you can recharge your mobile phone and other small appliances and rack for clothes. Outside next to the cabins there is adequate space for bikes.

The Bungalows are of different types and sizes (4-6 people) and they all have kitchen, bathroom with shower, TV and veranda or terrace with outdoor furniture.

The site also has a renovated toilet block with hot showers, toilet adapted for disabled people and baby changer, laundry with washer and dryer coin operated, cafeteria and restaurant serving breakfast, kitchen tops Asturian dishes combined and menus, a small supermarket with bread and other commodities; social club with board games and a computer with Internet access, safe, pool, playground, loan service of books and games and information service and reserve tourism activities.

Nearby

La Playa de La Franca, besides being the most easterly of Asturias, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful, spacious and accessible to the Cantabrian coast, which has earned the blue flag of the European quality.

The beach at high tide becomes a "natural pool" very safe for the smaller bathroom and excellent for water sports, fishing and underwater rock.


The low tide exposes a large sandy area, which are rich fishing coves and allows access to the beach of the Bear, a small cove between the cliffs, and with more difficulty to the beach or Regolgueru Mendía, which can also be reached by a steep path from the nearby town of Pimiango.

A 4 km from the beach of Franca, in the nearby town of Buelna, worth visiting Cobijeru complex, a natural monument of great scenic, geological and educational comprised of Acacias beach and cave Cobijeru .

The peculiarity of Las Acacias is that it is an indoor beach, which communicates with the sea by two underground conduits and is externally powered by a stream that flows into it.

Cobijero Cave communicates with the inner shoreline higher through a gallery that includes a large room with remarkable formations and subject to the tide levels.
